No, sorry. ChatGPT Will NOT Make You a Copywriter

As with any new shiny object, tons of folks are talking about Chat GPT and how they're using it. Awesome. Love it.

But here's something I hate to break to you: if you suck as a writer, ChatGPT is not going to make you a better writer.

If you suck at formulating clear and concise questions or commands, ChatGPT is NOT going to give you great answers.

If you're lazy, Chat GPT will NOT do the work for you.

If you CAN'T input the necessary data due to any of the three above...it ain't gonna do it for you.

ChatGPT is a tool that will help those who already have systems and processes create better content that is formulated in an easy and digestible manner.

It's a tool...and will make those that already have the skills even more relevant SHOULD THEY CHOOSE to use it.

I like using ChatGPT in the following ways:

✅ Creating optional copy for social media posts.
✅ Creating catchy headlines for YouTube videos.
✅ Reading transcriptions from edited videos and summarizing it.
✅ SEO'd articles/social media posts

For me, as a solopreneur, it's like having a co-worker who always has an answer for something that's challenging me. I have asked it questions or given it commands to help me formulate thoughts and ideas that otherwise would have taken me a considerable amount of time to get on paper or on the screen.

I expect in the next few months we will see a SHIT TON of crappy articles written about a variety of subjects. Some will be good, but for the most part, the rest will be mediocre at best because it started with mediocre content to begin with.

It's a great tool, but it's not the be-all, end-all.

Keep creating that valuable content...and see if it can help you improve what you've already done.
