This Just In: Social media is social.
Hate to break it to you but if you’re wondering why your social media isn’t growing…are you active on social media?
Choose your platform of choice – whether it be FB, IG, LI, TT, heck even YT – are you actively commenting and being a part of the social community? If you’re not ACTIVELY engaging with those in your niche or sphere of influence, then you’re missing out on the whole point of being social on social media.
If you’re wondering WHY things aren’t going as planned, this might very well be WHY. Posting a sale, posting your product, posting a picture of your feet (that might work on OF) might get some interaction but probably not the results you want.
Here’s a solution: spend 15 minutes a day NOT looking at your content. Use that time to find those in your niche or folks interested in what you do and actively engage with their content. I can almost guarantee you that you’ll start getting followers and more content interaction on your own stuff.
Doesn’t hurt to try. And I would love to hear if it works for you.
