Oh, you don’t want to ‘be that person’ on social? Don’t worry. No one’s noticing you anyway.

I hear it a lot when talking with prospective clients.

Complaints from CRE pros that *kinda* rag on other CRE pros for using their professional headshots in listing posts and quote graphics, etc.

“Who do they think they are? No one wants to see their face,” they say.

Well, that’s where I would argue with you.

We, as humans, like to SEE other humans. Shocking, I know.

And there’s actual psychology behind this. Faces build trust. Faces create connection. Faces make content relatable.

Think about it: when you’re scrolling through your feed, what stops you?
A picture of a building? For some of you, yes…this will stop the scroll, but more often than not, it’s a face you recognize.

In this business—just like any other—people do business with people. You’re not just selling a property; you’re selling your expertise, your reputation, your brand.

So if you’re holding back on putting yourself out there because you’re worried about what others might think…

🛑 Stop.

The people who matter will appreciate the value you bring.
And the people who don’t? They were never going to hire you anyway.

Put your face on that post. Own your knowledge. Share your insights.

That’s how you build relationships in 2025.

Deuces,
Mo
