You want to try to make connections with as many people as possible. But for those of you listening who actually want to build a business off of posts and connections on LinkedIn, you need to:

1. Create a space of community and value with your posts, whatever you're creating.

Then when people engage and you actually begin developing that community, respond to them, respond in the comments, send them DMS, stay connected with them, and then ultimately move them to a place of asking for the sale. That's the pattern. Don't, don't flip that. I think that people flip it. They start with the sale, go to DMS, and then later they like build the community, but start the other way around.
